Two men. Doubt. Existential angst. Hubris. Comedy. In the spirit of Waiting for Godot and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead comes a new play asking the timeless questions. Who are we and what do we do?
What? follows two days in the life of a presumed musician and writer. They aren’t sure and neither will you be.

IDO
Game night. End of game night. Alternative to game night. Skit night. Trick everyone to come watch a play. Write play. Did not complete in time. Rewrite play. Pretty good. Date was set. Rehearsals started. Complimentary tickets printed for two night run. Fun night with friends. Scheduling conflicts. Date postponed indefinitely. Complete and total breakdown of the project.
I will expand on the history of the play more later. For now suffice it to say that the play is not cancelled, e.g. theater is still being completed for first official use. Unsuccessful artists are lazy. We are lazy and easily distracted. The goal here is by thinking about the play and the theater for the purposes of promotion and as a chronicle of our lives momentum will be regained that was lost a year ago.

On Jan 1st and 2nd at 8pm the original play what? will debut at the e.g. theater in Vista, CA. At a sudden meeting, after a year of chaos, distractions, and illness, the original cast of what? have decided that the show indeed goes on. Friends, family, and supporters of coin operated entropy and independent arts are cordially invited to contact us for tickets. Due to weather issues we will have to go with standard seating in the theater with the parterre section closed. That means that there will only be 24 tickets for each show. If there is an overwhelming response to the show the possibility of a third show on Jan 3rd has been discussed. And if it gets really out of control (hopefully) we could also do 2 shows a night.
What a way to start the new year!
On Jan 1st and 2nd at 8pm the original play what? debuted at the e.g. theater in Vista, CA. Thank you to everyone who participated including cast, crew, and especially you the audience. Very soon, this section will become a shrine to the play as well as a historical accounting of everything that happened to get this first e.g. theater show up and running. For now view some pics from the show, and maybe read the first draft of the script. The final draft has not been edited yet. Contact us if you are interested in presenting this show.
